The Brief

The journey for us began two years ago when Rowan Prangley, an endeavouring young chemist came walking through the Squad Ink doors with a vision to create a new way to discover, explore and share the world’s finest spirits. His enthusiasm, passion and all round lovely nature has enriched the project and all whom have contributed to its success thus far.

Beautifully packaged and curated, members receive Monthly Spirits Kits of gin and whisky with five 50ml samples of premium, international and locally crafted spirits.

The identity of True North was crafted as a platform to discover fascinating spirit producing destinations around the world, along with the people that bring it all together.

A rich and immersive user experience through emotive copy, stunning imagery and a fluid yet simple structure.

We developed a world-first sensory online platform - The Flavour Trail. An online guide to flavours documented by industry masters and True North connoisseurs, paving the way for new discoveries.

The website was launched alongside a pozible campaign in which True North used to get initial crowd-funding. In order to spread the word about this campaign we developed custom Mailchimp templates which True North could use as a selling tool to promote the launch of their website and the subsequent launches of products each month. The result of this saw True North fund over $16000 before launch
